Tourism NT needed a deeper understanding of drive visitor behaviour. Building on 2019 baseline research for Tourism NT’s “Drive Tourism Strategy 2021-2030,” we conducted benchmarking research through 338 face-to-face intercepts at NT exit points.

Impact

Our findings profiled drive travellers, mapped routes and regions visited, assessed facility usage and satisfaction, and identified effective marketing channels, informing strategic tourism development.
